Review: Pond's Clear Balance No Blackheads

A family friend actually gave us Pond's facial foam products that would probably last us the whole year... Or even more! =) This costs 140 pesos, same with the Pond's Clear Balance Smooth Pores that I also reviewed.
So as promised here's my review on the Pond's Clear Balance No Blackheads Facial Scrub.

This has an interesting main ingredient which is Volcanic Clay. I've honestly never heard of it but apparently this has been popular for centuries for it's purifying and healing properties!

I read that volcanic clays are supposed to nourish, exfoliate and detoxify the skin and body. They infuse into our skin and then removes the impurities. This might also help with acne prevention because if there's no oil or dirt clogged into the pores then there will be less chance of acne formation.

You will feel a sandy sensation when you wash your face with this. It is a facial scrub after all. But the sandy feeling is very gentle and it will disappear after a while.

But even if the sandy feeling was gentle, I was actually afraid that it was going to break me out because of a past experience with exfoliating facial foams. But thankfully this one did not cause me any problems.

For the promise of No Blackheads I can't really say if it is effective because I have my regular diamond peel and everyone reacts differently towards the same product. But for only 140 pesos this is something worth trying specially if you really have problem with blackheads.
