So my underarms sweat, right? It can't be helped thanks to the extreme heat here in Manila. If you take public transportation then you know what I mean. I want to have dry underarms even when it's scorching hot outside so I availed this voucher from Ensogo.
I paid 1,500 pesos for 10 sessions of "Excessive sweating treatment with underarm whitening". So each session costs 150 pesos. I was super sold. I only wanted dry underarms and now I get to have it whitened too!
So I went to this Surgilight branch and the first thing I noticed is that the attendants are not very accommodating. They don't smile, I tell you! Then this girl brought me inside a room and asked me to lay down on the bed. She wiped my underarms with a wet sponge, which I'm not sure was clean, and applied a white cream all over. Then she left it on for 30 minutes. I enjoyed that part 'coz the cream felt minty and refreshing, plus I fell asleep amidst the attendants' noise in the "staff room". That's how loud they were, and that's how sleepy I was.
After 30 minutes the girl came back and she removed the white cream with a sponge again. Then she put a non-measured amount of a liquid substance, I'm guessing aluminum chloride, and used some metal roller to kind of rub it in. It was no machine coz she did not plug it and she manually rolled it on.
Here's a published info about the treatment:
The aesthetic machine used for the dual treatment helps in tightening pores and eliminating chicken skin and at the same time, lessening the sweating and the darkness that comes with it.
What machine was that again?
After the treatment it actually feels really good. My underarms still feel minty from that white cream and it feels dry too. BUT the effect is temporary.
You see my underarms are not excessively sweating, which this treatment is supposed to be for, and yet it did me no good.
Well you really get what you pay for. However it's really misleading 'coz the deal states that 5 sessions of this treatment costs 7,500 pesos without the promo. I finished five sessions of this and decided not to continue.
This is my personal experience and I'm not discouraging anyone from availing the voucher (which I think is ongoing as I am writing this). But I would advise that you get one session or five sessions first, see how you like it and get more as you please.
I hope this post helps. :)
