I'm really into moisturizing lipsticks because they don't dry out my lips and make them chap like crazy.
SM North Edsa had a 3-day sale last week and I was so happy that the cosmetics section was included! I stayed in that section for about an hour. I just swatched and swatched to my hearts content. Lol. =P
This is one of the products that went home with me that day.
It's Maybelline's Watershine Pure Lipstick in P24!
Packaging is very nice. It's two-toned; kind of bluish-silver, reflective, rectangular tube.
When applied on my lips the shade is actually like a bubble gum pink. It's got a bit of shimmer too, but it's very, very subtle that you have to look real close to see it.
- It glides on SOOOOO smoothly on my lips.
- Good color payoff even when it is a sheer finish lipstick.
- It gives a certain shine on my lips. It does feel a bit wet but not the watery kind.
- It's very moisturizing! My lips feel hydrated.
- It feels very light on my lips. No sticky feeling.
- Great for everyday look.
- Lasts for 2-3 hours only, which is reasonable enough. In my experience moisturizing lipsticks do tend to last around this span of time.
- It's affordable for only 299 pesos. I bought this for only Php 239 because of the discount.
They could have given it a more unique and though-out name, but other than that I have no complaints.

I bought this lipstick in another shade (CR31) and the only thing i hate is that it doesn't stay on my lips for a long time. one meal and it's gone. But it's worth buying
ReplyDeleteHi Azimiza. That's right. It does come off easily. But I read that moisturizing lipsticks tend to do that because they contain lots of conditioning ingredients such as shea butter. =)
