Review: MAC Russian Red Lipstick

If you are in search for the perfect red lipstick, well you've just found it. 

Russian Red is one of MAC's popular red lipsticks. It is described in their website as ""Intense Bluish-Red". This, in my opinion, is a red lipstick that anybody can pull off. The formula is matte but not at all drying. It goes on smoothly on my lips and lasts ALL DAY LONG. The color payoff is superb! The intensity may fade a bit through out the day but still impressive nonetheless. 

This gives a very pretty stain on the lips too! If you want natural looking red lips, just dab it on the center of your lips and blend it outwards with your fingertips. I tell you, the effect is better than any lip tints out there.

Some hollywood celebrites have shown love for this lipstick. There's Gwen Stefani, Scarlet Johansson, Christina Aguilera and Kim Kardashian to name a few.

Mac lipsticks cost 1,000 pesos a pop, $14 if you're in the States. MAC cosmetics are available in Shangri-la, Rockwell, Glorietta, Trinoma and Marrionaud MOA.
